I have been requested by one of my colleagues to take a picture of a sponsorship opportunity tomorrow. A sponsor is handing a demonstration door to us (don't even ask..) and the usual togger is committed else where. The photo will only be used internally and I have been given the 'pleasure' of using the works Nikon Coolpix 5000 as I am still cameraless (boy do I miss my A700).

Are there any group photo tips for me? The location will be internally (as far as I am aware) with 4-5 people (and a half size door). I proprose to take a picture of the sponsor shaking hands with the recipient with the door underneath the hands (if that makes sense) and the a group photo with the 'hangers-on' so everyone feels happy!

Thanks as always for any advice.

ps..if the post doesn't make any sense then I put it down to long hours and very little sleep:cuckoo:

hmmm....not one reply, perhaps it was not posted in the right section? Perhaps it was a supid question? Perhaps I am not in a clique?

Well all went smoothly, the local newpaper did arrive and was most obliging allowing me to take pictures of his 'posed' group.

well done
the last group i did i used a tripod and browbeat everyone to keeping still
i was on 1 sec exposure in a tungsten lit church
each shot showed a blurred image here and there so i had to be a bit un-christian and bellow at those who thought the whole event was fun and they would get a cup of tea and a cuke sanny afterwards

that did it!!

glad you got a good result...you are in a clique...we are called 'the rest'
