My wife guessed it actually straight away!, had some in the fruit bowl to confirm, would someone else like to post one on my behalf as I still havent worked out how to post an image on here with all the resizing business
 
Was thinking it might be a kitchen appliance due to a circle of white spots (needs brightened to see them) in the IV part of the photo. At first I thought a reflection of a gas ring on a cooker perhaps, now I'm not so sure.

It's not speed controls of a appliance ie a food mixer is it?

I don't have any images, can h.r.ford or dreederuk take it up, as mine was along similiar lines, I was actually thinking overhead compartments in an airplane.
