How good does it feel?! :)

We had a load of kids around County Hall for a school council visit the other week that I helped to organise and took a nice photo of them all in our assembly hall at the end. The deputy editor of the Worksop Guardian was one of the people who came to meet the kids and give them a talk about what she did and how it relates to our work here etc etc.

Anyway, I passed on the photo to her, and lo and behold, it's been printed in the Workshop Guardian! :) I wasn't credited, which was a bit of a bummer, but it's something anyway :)

And what prize kit did I use for the pic? 400D with the 18-55mm IS! Who needs L-lenses for photojournalism eh? ;)

Its a good feeling isnt it? Had a couple of photos in magazines now :). Shame about the lack of credit, but next time you'll make sure to ask for one!

Congratulations and well done. It's a good feeling

Well done, its a great feeling :D
Next time you will know to get the credit, it may be worth setting the camera to have your name in the exif (I assume your software will do that) just in case the person you give it to forgets :)

Yay - well done!

I'll bet it gives you a 'buzz' :)

How do you do this?

congratz bet it feels awesome :D

Thanks all! I'll post the pic tomorrow as I don't have my photobucket account info at work doh. The funny thing is that the photo isn't all that great, so for all the artistic endeavours and painfully positioned captures, the one that gets me the limelight is a simple shot off a balcony!! :)

Nice one mate
