I was just driving down the road this evening when I spotted this little fella waddling across the road. I quickly parked up and walked back (hoping that it'd made it safely to the other side!). Can't remember the last time I saw one...

Same here I can't remember how long its been since I've seen one, nice capture only critique is you should have got on ya belly to get lower lol.

Yeah definitely but I was lucky it paused long enough for me to even take this before scuttling off.... (and the grass was wet!! )

Same here.had not seen 1 for nearly 2 years,

Then saw a youngster out in the open on my estate in the daytime 2 days ago.

Fingers crossed he/she is doing well.....

Sadly the only one I have actually seen myself for ages was lying dead in the road a few days back which is a real shame.
