All together, there were 19 swans in a very wide line
that my 600 mm could not all capture. So I concentra-
ted my attention on an interesting part of the group and
had to heal off some wings ends on both sides.

I do like these. The reflections give that extra interest..........nice.

The second one is great, love the reflections, almost look like mouths

Nice catch. The even, dim light in the first makes it better for me.

It is the same light as there was only a few seconds
between the two… the BG changed though, thanks!

The background is what I meant. It's what I always try to to do with fungi photographs - have light on the subject and darker for the background. Rembrandt did it pretty well.

It comes from spending most of my time by myself :) I always understand what I mean.

wow,
you seem to have a knack of being around swans at the correct moment in time, just saw some of your other images as well as these, very impressed.

This is, to be honest, the result of observing and studying
subjects so one can predict what is coming and be ready
for it. May it be birds, horses, dogs, even children.
