Hello everyone,
I was told on flickr this is the place to be so here I am
My names Allan I took early retirement a couple of months ago and photography is a passion and hopefully will top up my pension a little lol I take all sorts of stuff but my main interest at present is low flying fast jets in the mountains of North/Mid Wales.

I am also hired by a UK FMX team (Freestyle motocross ) to take shots for them and also the European Champion FMX Jamie Squibb uses my shots on his website etc
My Camera is a Canon 7D which I love lol and I have a 15 metre mast I take shots off and I am daft enough to fly a Fuji bridge camera from a Kite.
So hopefully a bit for us to talk about in future.
Thanks for reading this and Hello!!
Allan

Hi Allan, welcome to TP.
You've been told right, this is the place to be.

Hello Allan

Welcome on board!
This place is a bit of a madhouse at times,
but you won't find a better forum anywhere.

Nice first post - you'll find many kindred spirits in the transport section, usually posting under 'Cad-West' titles or similar...

Welcome Allan this is without doubt the friendliest forum I have ever been on, they are all amazing on here. Also I love that photo I would like to do something like that once I get the basics of what I can do. Upto now Ive only snapped things that dont move.

Welcome Allan. Thats a good photo for your first post. As other have said there are togs on here that share your love of low flying jets and sit up in the mountains for hours waiting for them. You will see some of their photos in Transport
