Hi all,

I’ve been using the free version of Lightroom mobile on my iPhone for many years to edit my RAW photos that’s I’ve taken directly on the iPhone.

I’ve just received my first proper camera (Sony A6400) and taken some test photos in RAW.
I’ve successfully transferred them over to my iPhone, but I’m unable to edit them in Lightroom unless I purchase a premium subscription.

The only difference I can spot between my iPhone RAW photos and the cameras RAW photos, is that the iPhone ones are displayed as DNG files in the Lightroom app, whereas the camera ones show as RAW.

Does anyone know a way around this at all?

Thanks.

IIRC Adobe offer a free tool that will convert camera raw files into DNG.
It would not hurt to try it out but I wonder if such DNG files will be seen as not taken on the phone and fail to process them???

Ah perfect, I’ll have a look into that.

Thanks!
