Help - My website isn't showing on Virgin Connections

I've just gone to look at my site and for some reason it isn't loading. I phoned support for my hosting co and they could see it, so I decided to use my iPhone connection rather than wifi and that was fine but on the Virgin network that I have, as does my dad who I checked with, it isn't being seen.

Can others on Virgin or otherwise see my site (link is in signature)?

What can I do with Virgin to get this fixed as all other pages seem to work, just 2 of the 3 sites I host with GoDaddy are not there?

Have you made any changes to either the website or domain name configuration recently?

When did the problem first manifest itself?

Could you post the results from a traceroute carried out on a computer which can't access your website?

Hey Will.

I tried that and it says unable to resolve target system name marksmithphotography.co.uk

The problem started this morning. I've added some files via FTP but not changed anything and the site seems to work fine through other ISPs. Virgin have been no help on the phone as to why this is and GoDaddy have no idea as they are seeing everything on their system through a couple of different servers.

Anything else to try would be a great help.

Weird, then it must be more localised..... good that it is partly working. I've checked with a few in Plymouth and the problem is there, also this is obviously the key area for customers. What a pain!

sounds like a DNS issue, maybe worth a word with your webhost to see if theyve changed anything?

I did ask them and they say nothing has switched but I will check again. I hate computers when they don't work

if your using go daddy as a host, your dns points to zenfolio.

www.marksmithphotography.co.uk is an alias for zenfolio.com.

Im on a virgin connection in Cardiff, and definitely not working directly from my virgin connection, nor is it working from my VPN connection..

Should have said that godaddy redirects to zenfolio but my blog is different but still hosted with godaddy. My dad now can get on after all day without being able. Sometimes it's easier if a problem is total rather than random.

Happy for any other feedback and suggestions.

Yep, I'm really pleased to say that all was fine this morning. Still can't understand what was up but happy to be back in the game.
