Help needed with flat screen replacement for a CRT

My trusty old iiyama 19” vision master pro 452 crt monitor is on its last legs. Would the Dell 2209wa be a worthy replacement? The principal use will be with photoshop and previous experience of flat screen type monitors has left me rather sceptical.

Previous posts here would tend to say yes it's a good monitor, especially for photoshop type work.
 
had a very similar CRT a few years ago now and at the time TFT's were 2nd rate.
nowadays, the contrast and speed is awesome
dell have a good rep too. any alternate will do the job I think, if you pick something with a high contrast ratio. the dells have become very popular though
