Help needed...

ha ha, my missus doesn't show the same kind of enthusiasm.

Have you tried the argument that it's much, much cheaper than the depreciation on a FF digital camera? Oh. You've got one of those, too?:(

That's a good point Chris.

I could buy a new Nikon D4, or whatever number they're up to now, for, I don't know, let's say £3k.
In 5 years time I could sell it for maybe half that.

£1500 = about 400 rolls of film. At one a week that's nearly 8 years of film, and I'd still have my FG or whatever.

1) Never carry more than two cameras (they all look the same)
2) Have new acquisitions delivered to work.
3) Master this phrase "what this old thing? I've had it for ages."

It worked for @Andysnap for ages until @Mrs Snap started coming on film meets.

Please people, stop openly giving away secrets. Remember certain 'other's also read these posts. Loose lips cost cameras. ;)

All good ideas, and ones I will probably use in the near future as i have my eyes on an Olympus OM-10 and an OM-20 and a Pentax K1000....and.......and.....
