hi guys. i'm in need of some help

i'm doing an outdoor fashion shoot for a friend of some dresses she has made. They are like dinner/ball gown/posh items

i need some help on the sort of poses that work best with dresses like these.:shrug:

i have never done anything like this before!

any links or examples would be most appriciated

Not sure if this'll be of any use, but you could always have a browse through my shoot collection on flickr http://flickr.com/photos/louise-knight/collections/72157611321982605/ ?? the dresses range from mini-dresses to wedding dresses so it's easy to get a feel for the style you may be after.

You could also try looking through some girls magazines and tear out the ones that catch your eye. Don't do this in Smiths though.
