Hello,
Firstly apologies if I am asking a really daft question but I'm having a panic over getting some photographs from an once in a lifetime event that I attended last night.
I am currently using a Sony Cyber-Shot camera as loan camera while my own camera is away being repaired. I took the photos at the event and want to upload them onto my laptop to email them to relatives in Australia. However, there is a problem with the camera, it won't charge up (using charger or USB) and the lens has stuck. This isn't not of major concern at the minute as I think it's a fault with the battery and will explain this when I return the camera.
Could I take the memory card (Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo 1GB) to Asda, Boots etc and be able to save the photographs onto a disk there or will they only print out copies of the photos?
Thanks for any help given
:)

Wasn't sure if I'd just be able to print them off there. Will want a copy but need a back up of them too. Ill take the disk down to Boots tomorrow.
Thanks for replying.

If you're going to have your loan camera for a while it may be worth buying a memory card reader and transfer photos straight from your card to laptop..actually if you buy one with multi-slots you can use this with most type of memory cards I.e. with your camera memory card after repair

Get really reasonable ones on Amazon for less than 5 quid..here's one for Pro Duo

Hope the owner not going to be to hack off with his camera going back broke. Lol I would be I'd put a crash hat on lol.

But you can all photo places do it so don't worry about that side of things

Thanks for the replies as long as I can get my photos onto my laptop to email my cousin in Australia, anything to keep him happy!!
I am hoping to have my own camera back soon, although I've been saying that since the begining of April with no success as yet. The loan camera was working fine up until yesterday when it just froze while I was taking a photo. I will return it to the shop tomorrow and see what they say and where the repairs on my own camera are up to.
Cheers everyone.
