Hi

I'm new to mac's, and I'm having problems with e-mail. For some reason I can't get the mobile me account to sent attachments.

Also I'm having problems opening some web sites ie the support page on the apple site, it just stoles and won't load.


If any body can help it would be great.

I don't use mobile me, so don't know on that one.

I've never had a problem with any web page whatsoever, so I'm a little stumped, I'm using the Safari 4 Beta, it has closed itself once but as a Beta I feel that's acceptable.

Can you link to a bad page?
 
Cant help with the mobile me either as I dont use it.

Which browser are you using. Have you the latest software upates, click on the apple on the top left hand corner and then software updates. I am assuming you are using Safari is it the new version ie 4. Why not download firefox and give that a try. If that works try looking at the Apple support page with firefox. I have just been to the support page at apple uk and it is working fine.

Also, if you're using Firefox, you may want to try Safari (try Safari 3 for now as I'm finding 4 to be a bit buggy still). I was having problems running Firefox with Leopard, but no problems under Tiger, though I think this is down to the type of connection to the internet I have in my house...
 
Thanks for the help, I have updated the software and have tried Firefox to see if that make any difference, but sadly things are still the same. ekimeno's comment about his internet connections has got me wondering if that's where my problems lay. that I may be having problems with the way the router is set up or it may just be with TalkTalk!!
Are there any ISP's that are more reliable and at about the same price?

I have a new iMac and use Talktalk without an issues - unfortunately I don't use Mobile Me. Have you checked your router settings? If it not just MM that is playing up, what is the next thing up the chain it could be? What router do you have? What security settings have you changed in OSX?
