Help with image sizing please.

Never having had any prints made before and after being given the advice to use DS Colour Labs to print a few images I've now got my knickers in a twist trying to send them the images.

I'm after 10" x 7" prints which on the DSCL site shows as 3000 x 2100 pixels. In my Image Size box I have the pixel dimensions of 3000 x 2100 but the document size shows as something completely different.

In CS4, I also tried to add a signature to one of the images but even at the maximum text size, it looked very tiny.

Any help or advice please would be most welcome.

Most images are printed at 300 dots per inch for the correct resolution and pixel size...

So 10" x 300dpi = 3000 pixels
7" x 300dpi = 2100 pixels

As long as image size shows 3000x2100 you should be ok, sometimes it still shows original size..

Not sure on your signature ???

Create a new layer and add text...
Some fonts only go to a maximum height so try a different font...
