Help with these cameras please!

I have 2-3 Trips - one is a prototype from 1967 but in general the Trip 35 is a great street camera as it uses a zonal system for focus and does everything for you. I took it with me years ago to San Francisco to use with my D90. A great source for Trips is http://streetshooters.co.uk/. Stewart Duffy is a great guy and serviced a couple of my cameras. As for film - XP2 is fine and cheap to process.

Ah. How to avoid that then? I loaded it into a reel and then Patterson tank.

You said earlier that " Although I had a couple of light leak issues I think when the rewind spool came loose in the middle of the reel. Made the winding on all strange!!"

If the reel separates when you are winding the film on, or if the film jumps out of the guides, you'll get the film touching against the next coil of itself. The separation distances are very precise to allow access for the chemicals during processing, so the film must be properly on the reel. I think you have to start again if you have a problem when you're winding the film onto the reel, and that's where a big changing bag really helps.

Thanks for that link.

Today was the first time I've used the trip
