Hello. Ive had three replies to my photos now on flickr wanting them to be displayed in a magazine/website.

This is the message I get

Is this legit? The guy who sends the message has some rather good photos of his own. I have yet to see the magazine instore but I have noticed over 800 people have liked the website via facebook.

Never had one before but seens though he put Vietnam as a example that might be a clue and the fact he will forward it to the magazine would put me off a bit
But I could be wrong :-/

I was thinking it looks more like just a online blog. I leave my signatures on the photos as im receiving no payment

Not sure who the guy is who sent the email but the website and facebook just look like a load of reader submitted photo's. Ie, you send your photo to hicamera and they host it on there site with a credit to you in the way of a username (you write the description etc). no link back to your flickr, nothing.

Your photo, hosted on their site, is then posted to their facebook page with a link back to their website.

Can't really see what is in it for you. They're obviously making money from advertising though which the amount of web traffic will help.

I could be wrong, I'm no expert, but I wouldn't be happy to submit stuff.
