Yes
Have just been messing around with photoshop trying to learn how to use it and come up with this series of composite images with a cd cover in mind. They are a composite of 4 images I shot in a few places I have been fortunate enough to visit over a number of years.
Wanting to experiment with some font in the project, I was looking for a word that looked good, and fitted in the image and stumbled on a kinda cool Welsh word, 'Hiraeth', meaning;
"a homesickness for a home to which you cannot return, a home which maybe never was; the nostalgia, the yearnng, the grief for the lost place of your past."
Which i quite liked, anyhow... without further a doo.

Very tasteful design and convincing approach, Will!

…and I dig the definition you gave… interesting.

Revisited!

If I may suggest…
The word, on the cover is very visible at the beginning
but seems to be less toward the end,
may be a reversed radiant… or the orange colour?

Hmm,ok. So, to be clear. Not totally sure what you mean but are you suggesting using the colour of the sky reversed for the font? Or something else?
Could be worth a go but i quite like the way it fades almost to same colour as the sky.

but i quite like the way it fade
Yes, there is definitely some graphic appeal in this solution
but my suggestion concerns only the readability… on a
store shelf, shop window or any form of display.
are you suggesting using the colour of the sky reversed for the font?
Something like that. Fill the font with say a reversed gradient
of appropriate colours.

Again, my suggestion concerns only the readability.
