Hey guys, I'm sure there are places u can do the above. But where's the best and what r they like-I mean do u get ur money's worth?
Lookin to borrow a good mid range zoom for my trip to lego land with my 3 boys (don't think the kit lens or my 50 will b good enough)
I'm looking at buying a sigma 17-70 2.8-4f but everyone says I should forget bout the reach and get a tamron 17-50

Don't know about sigma and tamron ones but lens for hire is one people on the from have said is good. The owner is a member of the forum.

I used Lens Pimp (.com) a couple of weeks ago without any issues. Spoke on the phone first... pleasant chap. Same price as Lenses For Hire, for the item I required at least.

Having been to Legoland more than I'd care to count, what exactly makes you think a standard kit lens won't be up to the job? There's not a ton to take images of outside of mini land and a kit lens will do just fine here given it's outside.

The only other area I can think of is the Lego Starwars tour thingy which is indoors in which case use the 50 if you can get away with the small DOF, which I doubt you can as the displays are pretty big.

That's unless they've added much for this season as I haven't been since our annual passes ran out at the end of last season.

Just checked on Lens Locker - very convenient for me - but they don't list long lenses...

Would be a boon compared with Fixation (very excellent) but a pain to get to and gets very expensive if, if you are like me unfamiliar with London, you stray.....and get a nice letter from TfL...
