Hitech filter holder adaptors

Can anyone tell how wide I can go with 100mm hitech filters/holder using a standard adapter before the need for a wide angle adapter.

I used to have a Siggy 10-20mm for my canon 50d and had lots of vignetting below 16mm. Just either used to adjust in pp or never go below 16mm when using filters Not sure how much wider with a WA filter adapter

Cheers. My widest will be 24mm just wasnt sure it show vignetting with the standard ring.

I'm just about to buy into 100mm filters [probably Lee] & I am going to get the wide angle adapter but I shoot 17mm on FF. With how much the filters are, plus the holder, plus which ever adapter you decide it's going to be expensive regardless. I don't want to save myself £15 with a standard one only to find out first use it vignettes & I should have got the wide

incase anyone else wonders about this the standard adaptor and 100m holder do vignette slightly in the 4 corners at 24mm,nothing to severe though.

I shoot with the Canon 17-40 on a 6D, using Hitech 100mm filters and the wide-angle ring and you can't see the holder at 17mm.

On my old 550D using the 10-22mm, you could see the filter holder at 10mm wide open.

Going to grab a wide angle adaptor soon, but need to get a 67mm(i think) as well for my sig 35. I can live with the slight vignetting @ 24mm on the 77mm adaptor just now.
