I needed a new hobby, and out of the myriad of ones available, photography sparked my interest the most

Just got a Canon EOS 1100D, on have the stock non IS lens at the moment but hoping to expand.

Pretty PC savvy, since that's my job , and have a good rig for doing post on.

Have a few decent wooded areas, and county parks within waking or short drives away.
