Hold Music on phone calls

Why do they keep interrupting the music making you think theyve answered the phone just to tell you they're sorry your on hold and they're doing everything they can? Every 11 seconds. Just leave the music going until you're ready!! I get it, you're busy!! :razz:

It would have worked well if they didnt keep bloody interrupting about how worried they were that I was on hold.
All I want is to be told where in the queue I am and updated when I move up in the queue. If Im 405th, I can hang up. If im 7th, I can hang on a bit.

Whenever I listen to it the music always sounds as if on a bad connection. All broken up and barely audible.
