I spent months in a row in mezzo-american jungle years ago.
I had the same concerns at the time using the F3HP and mix
of IF and non'IF lenses. I was recommended to keep the gear
out of the bags when not on the way.

My admittedly brief exposure to humid climates (Thailand three times, the Eden Project, Butterfly World) taught me to check the camera/lens and the shots I've taken now and again for condensation and to be aware that it could be happening without me noticing, hence the periodic checking.

Grew up in the tropics and holiday in a tropical country at least twice a year. They use cameras and lenses over there as well, you know.

The main trouble will be when you leave an artificially cooled place (air conditioned room) and step outside into warm, humid environs. As long as you keep your equipment in a bag indoors and take it out of the bag a while after you’ve been outside, you should be ok.
