I've spent the last couple of days researching and making a light tent.
Mainly because I don't often use my 430exii I wanted something to use it for...
So I made this...

Cardboard box, holes cut into sides.
Covered with Muslin White material.
White craft paper/card as background(sweep)
1 Canon 430exii on a stand.
Canon 50d on a tripod.
Tethered Shooting via Lightroom 3.

Result...

Adjusted the: Exposure, Contrast, Clarity, Saturation and Cropped it.

Found it tricky exposing the background without over exposing the 'models'.
I think its worked ok. Although the background in the second image isn't quite white enough.

Your views please,
Thanks
Ben

They look great to me, I'm just trying into this now so have no know how what so ever but like the results, and yours look good!

Thanks, this was my first go so still playing around with settings.

Nice matey. How did you expose the background?

Just using the speedlite. That was the only lightsource :)

I have no idea to be honest then haha. With just 1 light source I'm surprised the subjects aren't overexposed.

I like it!
It's always nice to see homemade alternatives.

I'd love to get into building some stuff myself, but i've yet to get enough cash to buy a decent flash/trigger yet so it'd be a bit of a waste :D

Thanks for your comment :)

Nice job, I usually add multiple light sources to get rid of shadows for ebay stuff but if you like them then thats fine as well.
