Is there a way of e-mailing photos via hotmail without them being resized. When a photo is attached it seem to reduce the file size & resolution massively.

Not sure what the problem is! If I send photos to another hotmail account I get the preview image but unable to open the full image. It downloads an iEXIF image that cannot be opened. Any ideas?
 
I have had the same problem (I think), the solution is to download and save the image before viewing. It's the full size image that way.
 
you have to send it as a file not photo to retain sizing.
 
Thanks, I have tried both. As a file and a photo. It wont let me download them. The file is a JPEG but when I try and save it it says it is an iEXIF image?
 
When you click on the link/attachment you get the open/save/cancel box yes? And you click on the save button, and choose your "my pictures" or "desktop" etc? Then go to the actual image in the folder you saved it to and double click it(not click on the "open" or whatever button once it is saved)?

(I know it sounds like I am trying to tell you how to suck eggs but I just want to be completely clear what you are doing, as that's the only way I can view images from hotmail as well :))
 
Ah, good :)

It doesn't explain why it does it though, and why iexif seems to want to open it as a one of its files instead of a jpeg. Anyone know of a proper solution? (as the workaround is a bit of a pain.)
