Never done bugs before and wanted to give my extension tubes a proper run out. I know it's long way off perfect but would love to know what people think?

Nice one Nick, I think it could be Epistrophe elegans but not easy to id from this shot.

Colour looks a little over saturated and part of the head is in shadow but still a nice shot.

Yeah was a little frustrating it wouldn't quite land in the right spot! Wanted to get more light on the eye to be honest.

I can't comment on the macro (beyond maybe having the focal point slightly closer to the eye instead of the wing, dunno?), but as a general impression - the left-hand half of the background is distractingly bright, should be easy enough to bring it down though with split-toning or something. Having said all that, I'd be dead chuffed if I managed that shot!
