How can I import Outlook emails to Entourage?

As above, got a new iMac and would like to import all my outlook mail into Entourage. Has anyone here done it? I googled it but got loads of differing answers so thought I'd try here as someones bound to have done it.

What? Microsfot don't let you move your files between two of their own products (essentially the same product, but on different platforms and a different name).

When I moved to Mac I used Thunderbird (on my PC) to convert my Outlook files to an open standard that Apple Mail could read.

Unless you really need to use Entourage I'd go with Apple Mail.

Thanks - is there much difference between Entourage and Apple Mail? I've no preference to either as I don't know anything about them really! (noob)

On a PC outlook keeps it mail in a file called outlook.pst you should beable to import them by pointing to this file
It has your contacts as well if I remember

Apple mail is designed to be used on your Mac, I would stick with it. I have used Entourage before when i needed to sync with a PDA, but it was not the best mail programme to use. :thumbsdown:
