How do I do this better?

Hi,

What would be the best way to make the perspex bits in this photo stand out more?

Camera settings or can it be rescued in photoshop?

I've only had a DSLR since December so am new to this.

Any advice would be gratfuly recieved.

try different colour backrounds maybe blue.

Maybe take it out of the box and shoot it again from a lower angle with a different background colour as stated above.

i had one of those set up gauges for my 1/10 kyosho !!!

sorry, just thought i'd mention it!!

as above some side lighting on the ends of the perspex.

light it wish a flash , torch, or lamp so that you get some direct reflection off it.
