Hi all, something that I have been thinking about for a few days. There has been resounding opinion that the photography business in the UK is suffering. I've heard from photographers that I have met and people on here that the press section has been particularly hit.
Is this the same in other countries? i.e France, Italy, etc? I have travelled quite a lot but never in photography circles so I dont really have any answers.
I know this is a UK based forum but I also know there are a lot of people from other countries as well as a few travellers.
Any opinions on this? Is social, sport, wedding photography suffering? On a personal note as an aspiring photojournalist what would you say is the country still thriving?
