How large a cf card.

I have a canon 1d mk1, I'm using 2gb cards at the mo, I've been advised that it's not a good idea to use larger capacity in this body as it doesn't like them, Any idea if this correct and why, or can I use whatever I want.

I'd try it tbh.For instance, ny old Canon S3 (2005) was not supposed to support cards over 2 gb....put in an 8gb sdhc fine.

Cheers, I'll borrow one to try in it, I see you have a IP4600, what paper do you use/recommend to in it ? I have an IP4500 at the mo.
