How to print a protected PDF doc?

A friend of mine has sent me his CV in PDF format from abroad for submisson to a local company but I am unable to print it as it is print protected. The deadline is tomorrow evening and I am unable to reach my friend as the phone lines seems to be not co-operating. Anyone know how can I print a protected PDF file please?

That's just it - I'm afraid you can't. It might be worth opening the PDF in a different program to try and get around the print protection. If you can get it into Illustrator, you should be OK. Photoshop can also open PDFs. You could also try opening it in Preview and see if that ignores the security setting. Failing that, the worst case would be to take screen shots and print those (but be prepared for the quality to be poor).
