how to transfer files between pc and mac

hi

is there a good website that will show me step by step how to do this? seems to be various ways (i'll be transferring via ethernet) of doing this but as always with the net there seems to be conflicting advice!

set up a shared folder on the PC then access it via the go -> connect to menu on the mac.

use wireless or wired depending on the amount of data.

that'd be the way id do it.

As Neil says above, Windows cannot read the Mac partition so it has to be Mac reading Windows partition. Unless you want to buy some windows software such as Macdrive.
