Beginner How would you edit these

I went for a walk today with my 50mm lens, trying to get an image for the leading lines challenge but instead came back with these two. The bubble one might need cropping and could possibly make a B&W though I do quite like the green. The Old Mans Beard shot is SOOC, I did try an edit but it ended up looking worse though its looking quite dark on here Anyone care to have a play? I'm just curious what you might come up with. I had a go, see what you think. All I did was ti increase the exposure and crop the images. I think bubbles has more to offer.

The bubbles a slight crop, black and white and a bit of midtone contrast boost. The OMB I just upped the exposure and played about with the colour, and a bit of burning bottom left.bubbles1BW.jpgomb1L.jpg
 
For the bubbles, I would have gone black and white.
