Thats not really how we say "hello" in Texas, but it sounded good! I am a photographer, starting my own business in the middle of Texas and having a great time doing it! I have been using a dslr for less than a year, but worked for Wal-mart Portrait Studio for 4 years and fell in love with taking kids pics there. Most of my stuff with the business has been weddings, but I love taking pics of everything! I look forward to getting lots of advice and help with my craft and hope to help some in return! Oh! btw, I can't spell worth a darn!

welcome Heather

Hi Heatherlou, and welcome to the Talk Photography Forums :)

Spelling? Pah, we don't worry about things like spelling
So you just enjoy your stay here, have a good look round and feel free to jump into any discussions :)

Hello and Welcome

 hello there

Thank you all for such a warm welcome! I look forward to being here and having lots of fun! Now if I can figure out how to post a pic, I will be in good shape! Thanks again!

I nearly made it over to Iowa City, Iowa and Arlington VA for Thanksgiving this year but the Bosses won't let me take that much time off (plus the 3 weeks at Xmas that I'm having...) grumble, grumble...

Just trying this out to see how it works!
