Thanks KevinVery nice work
Many Thanks Bryn, no1 is my favourite find and shot in Macro so far!#1 is excellent everything perfect, Focus, Lighting, Detail , Composition
Both good but #1 wins for me.
Thanks Jimi! Both shots were taken outside using this set up:Wow!
Love the first as well, wish I could capture something like this.
I'm just getting into macro and would love some advice:
firstly, black background - dropped in or is it an indoor setup?
Secondly, how do you get the critters to stay still long enough to use focus stacking (assumption)?
Thanks
J
Thanks.
Impressive - I have a Pringles tube flash extender so will try to darken the ambient more in mine. I guess OCF helps too.

Thanks GeorgeTwo very nice shots Neil, great detail, spot on exposure, and good composition. Probably #1 just edges it for me but very little in it.
George.
There were plenty of the small (brush???) crickets in the long grass and also some brown ones which I didn't manage to capture, I will be back soon tho!How could you find them? Very nice shots by the way
