I had a Hoya Pro 1, which smashed when the camera/lens/filter dropped to the floor. After reading a CPL filters review I chose to replace it with the Marumi DHG Super, which seems perfectly OK in terms of IQ and effect, except for a blue colour cast, which is not really a big problem, since I shoot raw, but based on my experience I'd go for the Hoya.

Be aware that the angle of view of an ultra-wide lens is so wide that the polarising effect may (will) vary across the width of the frame the wider you go. At 10mm the difference is likely to be quite noticeable, so polarise with care.

While the marumi gives a blue color cast, the Hoya Pro 1 suffer a very obvious yellow tint too. I'm not sure which is easier to fix in post processing but needless to say I wasn't too happy with my Pro 1 when realized what it did to my photos. From the lenstip review, the marumi looks like an obvious choice.

I have a Sigma 10-20.. lovely lens for the money, and the Hoya Pro1 CP and generally don't have any problems except for the variable polarization that TDODD refers to.
