Hi

I have the HP 6915 and have installed TomTom 6 on the sd card, however it wont find the satellite's with the gps, the gps icon on windows is grey i have down loaded the quick gps connection files, which down loaded ok, but the software isnt working/ when i go into show gps status in tomtom the only option's i get is how should latitudes and longitudes be displayed, no options to set com ports or any other settings, if any one else has had this problem and fixed it, could you please help me. Thanks.
 
We use that model at work, they are loaded with TomTom 5 which works well enough (icon not greyed out), the main TT software is on an SD card in the slot bottom right. Since it's windows I reckon TT6 would be compatible which it wasn't on my palm T5 so I can't give you any other clues other than to check the installation is good.
 
I have a P3300 and installed TT6 but never had that problem. Try uninstalling and reinstall again.

Beat me to it, it definately sounds like the gps section in tom tom has not been set up :)
 
Thanks for the replys. I had tried to set up the GPS section in TT, but i think options are missing, so i think the software is not as it should be, i shall go buy another copy. It came with the unit but not advertised as a selling point.
