Just been again, can you see this map?

Can highly recommend the Cloister Inn hotel, good staff, ok rooms, great location, good breakfast
So Spend a day on the other side of the river, walk up to the castle, take the stairs. On the way down, you can walk under the charles bridge to the p***ing staues, passing the smallest lane in europe. It's one person wide with traffic lights and is usually full of tourists. Walk back the other way to the John Lennon wall, again a tourist spot, but carry on over the little bridge with padlocks on, lovers bridge, and the little cafe there is really good - the one by the watermill.
Walk along the park to Museum kampa, free stuff to see outside, but they've also an exhibition in the park of when Prague flooded recently. There's also the Cerney Baby statues at the end.
Not on the map - walk along to the next bridge (good spot to take photos of Prague) and turn right towards the funicular railway up to Petrin tower. There's part of the wall there, more statues/monuments and steps. On the road before you cross is an amazing junk/antique shop.
Do go up the railway (angry, dismissive women staff - proper eastern communist welcome
) to the Petrin tower, worth walking up for the view and you see the football stadium (tatty). Walk down, and you'll pass the cave house. Weird house, paintings

Back over the bridge and the cafe on the corner does great coffee and cakes. On a sunday there's a market there.
Other strange places to go -
Cafe Orient, around the corner go upstairs, lightbulb shaped staircase.
The public library, has an infinite book tower, but the inside is pretty cool also for architecture.
Main railway staion. Modern concourse underneath but the old entrance upstairs is amazing.
By the Municipal House is a large shopping mall, with a really good food court upstairs and clean, free toilets.
Suspended sigmund Freud - I walked past this several times before I saw it
Eating places - Restarant Konvict, by the Cloister Inn is the best burger place in Prague, I think it's 6th best eating place in Prague (out of nearly 5000) on tripadvisor. Basically stay out the tourist areas and the food is brilliant and cheap. Do try the soups.
Enjoy - it's a brilliant place
I've photos at home I'll stick some up but not until tomorrow - working late today.
