I've just taken delivery of a spanking new Canon 40D plus BG-E2 grip :D (y):woot:

I got the body + free 2Gb ExtremeIII CF card for £779 + p&p from WHE and got the grip plus battery from Jessops at lunch time today (and got them to price match WHE!!).

I have to say I'm one very happy large bunny :D

I'm not brave enough to take it to a Rugby League match so my first proper use will be tomorrow.

I have to say it has a very nice feel to it, even without the grip.

I just have to get rid of the 350D + some bits now so that I can buy the mrs something nice :)
 
Congrats and I hope it's everything you expect from it. I'm thinking of going the 40D route soon but will wait a few months to see just how it performs, early readings are looking good.
