I wanted to upload a picture, but appears this site hasn't uploading tool

how do you guys upload your stuff ??

Free sites for hosting images and you can then link them into your posts:

Upload your photo to your Flickr photostream (https://www.flickr.com/ - which is very easy and free to sign up to if you have not already done so).
Click on the photo you want to share - the photo will open in a new page
Click on the 'Share photo' arrow in the rh corner
Click on 'BB Code' option
Select one of the Medium size options in the drop down menu
Right click on and copy the highlighted link
Paste the link in your 'New Thread'

I may be mistaken but, isn't the "upload a file" tab, used to upload images from your device, be it a laptop, pc or tablet.

This forum has it's own "Gallery" you may use to host pictures you can then insert (via url) into posts.
You even have your own 'area' in this gallery to manage your own photo's already - look in your 'forum profile'
