what with 32MB per RAW Image and another 12 for the JPEG I am going to be eating memory cards!
 
You finally got that pentax?! Memory bits are also quite good for prices. Bought quite a few cards from them.

Having trouble updating Photochop though to accept the RAW files!
 
Why 12mb for a jpeg? If you are saving jpeg plus raw, then just keep a low res jpeg, I.e. Normal quality, and if you need a super quality jpeg pull it from the raw.
 
just did a shot using 22 layers in photoshop. My pc used over 12gb of the 16gb available!
