unfortunately it was flu, between christmas and new year. the picture fitted my life today...

like it.. hate having my picture taken so a self portrait would be a very rare shot.. great in B+W
 
thanks mich, i prefer b&w photography in general...it will be interesting for me to see if i start to use more colour as the project moves on.

my wife sara started work again today after the christmas break. she made a batch of apricot and red onion relish for her chutney business, 'get pickled'

thanks, i later corrected the colour cast and it looks a lot better. i will leave it as is though and remember this for next time...

7/365 early morning snowy spinney sunrising breath fogging...

taken first thing this morning with my new nikon coolpix. i bought this to keep in my pocket so i could take stuff for this 365 'on the fly' so to speak...
 
nice, like it.. just the right depth of snow to make going out bareable ;)

my compact is a coolpix, stopped using it when I got my D60 so will be nice to get it out again for this!

i think that it will be very useful on days when you dont have time to get your dslr out...i am going to try some candid street stuff with the coolpix tomorrow, may not process it until saturday but will do my best...

disasters a plenty today...dead camera batteries meant i ended up doing candid street stuff on my blackberry phones camera...this is best of a bad lot!
 
fits the scene perfectly, looks like you took it through ice or similar :)

had a flat battery disater at the cliffs of moher, wonderful scenery.. wonderful brooding sky.. 2 shots.. battery died... argghhh!! sums my luck up though ;)

not sure if this works...i wanted to take some low-light, high iso shots of the local woods. this was taken just before sunrise...as i say, not sure if it works but its all i got!
