sadly my old icap has done its last match, but i cannot find one at all anywhere the icap website doesnt seem to ship to england for some strange reason, has anyone any ideas on how i can get hold of one please

I would guess on this occasion it is a viewing hood for using outdoors with a laptop or screen.

There is a European distributor who are based in Germany. They ship using DHL so I don't see any reason why they wouldn't supply to the UK.

iCap is a brand name for a laptop sunshield...

iCap - sun shade and protection for notebooks. Blocks sun and glare on the display and protects laptops against heat, rain, etc.

I used to make my own, out of a sheet of black card from an art shop and some heavy duty cloth tape to secure the sides to the top., My version worked just as well and cost about 1/10th the price. It wasn't waterproof but that didn't matter because I normally used it indoors.
