I looked in my British Wildlife book but couldn't see this chap or chappess as it may be..:shrug:

I rather fancy it is a female Chaffinch but will wait for the experts to clarify that..:)

Looks like a female greenfinch.. or maybe a juvenile, Tim.
 
Janice is spot on with her second go ... juvenile Greenfinch it is Tim ... (y) ... and a cracking shot too if I may say so sir ... :D

nice bird shots tim. nice and sharp in good composition. nice lighting..
squidgers are good but imo not your best that said im still looking for my 1st
