Idiots guide to Lightbox 2? Please?

I have spent ages doing the steps on the lightbox 2 website, and tried all of the fixes below it and it still doesn't work :(

Can some body give me an idiot-proof guide to lightboxing success? :)

Im on Dreamweaver CS3

Have you got the paths to the files in the css file correct - that's the number one problem - have you put the javascript and css files in the same directory as your photos?

Can you provide some info on the folder structure on your server?

My image files and ccs/javascript are not in the same directory...

Basicallly the idea is i want to assign an image set to each show i have photographed (look at link)

All files except the images are in ''root/Templates''
 
Ok, do you mean you want to display the images from one set on one page and then use lightbox to show the images - or when you click the image for one set from the link you provided, to use lightbox to display the set on the page you provided?

I would have a page with all the photos for each set and then use lightbox to display the set.
 
basically i want each image on this page:

to open a seperate set of images from each show, so six different sets.
