its a countrywide magazine and popular over seaseas :lol: :lol: but i will reveal all when its in :D :D

nothing major but its the first thing that ive ever done thats been published :lol:

anndd.. i think i get money for it :o :D

Getting pics published is a brilliant feeling, congratulations :D

I actually managed to get a 5 page article about kiteboarding at our local beaches published in a national powerkite mag, I was mega happy!

I had 7 pics in the on line Rochdale news I didn't get paid but was well chuffed

and ignore people who put you down on here if you don't get paid for it somethings are more important!!! :thumbs:

Except that for some of us (and usually the ones who have a little misgiving about it) there isn't much more important as it's going to pay our rent.

I've got nothing against people getting published, however by giving away for free you are supplying the publication with an image they can use again and again for free. Somewhere out there a tog will not make a sale because of you giving your product away for free.

And everyone knows that togs not making sales make baby jeebus cry.

Suzy, congrats on getting the published image!! It's a great feeling seeing your work in print.
 
i didnt ask not to be paid....just to clear that up and im fully aware that togs who are pros need to be paid etc....

but trust me this magazine, yes it is coutnrywide and most people have heard of it,, it i do get paid it will be £100 or less...if at all....

to me its the priveledge of being published..... :)

Suze, the comment was more directed at implodephoto...the main thing is you've not said "have it for free" ;)

£100 or less is a usual amount for magazines these days unfortunately...just be glad you're not having to pay the rent with photo sales!

Congrats on the publication, you'll have to scan a copy for us all on here when it comes out. :thumbs:

agreed. a magazine recently requested 4 image of ours for a report on an event but it didnt happen after they werent willing to pay for them, instead opting for "library images".
 
well done... your feeling good at the thought of it.. imagine how your going to feel when you see it :) enjoy!

Many congratulations... must be a great feeling to know someone has seen your picture and wants to publish it. Better still knowing that many 1000's will see it and get to enjoy it too.
