IS OS SSS IV and any other name for it
Question: I have a Sony a200 with built in SSS (Super Steady Shot), which is sony's own version of an in camera image stabilizer. Now, I am slowly building up my lens library and have just bought a Sigga 17 - 70 f2.8 - 4 with OS. My question is in 3 parts
When using a 300mm with no OS, on a tripod, do I use the camera SSS?
(I had heard that OS IS SSS should be switched off when on a tripod)
When using the 17 - 70 with inbuilt OS, do I keep the camera SSS switched on? or will the different systems work against eachother.
Or... do I keep SSS working in all situations
I only ask because some of my stuff appears a little soft, not much, but a little :bonk: Thank you in advance.
