Hi All,

Just had some good news....

I recently covered the start of the 09-10 Clipper round the world yacht race and as such I have had several mags and people chasing me for my images :) Also the media... ITV and BBC want to feature a range of my images!

So I am quite chuffed!

Must be nice to be chased for them, but make sure you get a fee for them - the BBC quite often ignore this little "issue".

Congratulations!

Yep... I am negotiating with them now :)

For those who are interested I have posted some on here in the Sports section under Clipper 09-10! :)

I don't know much about the business side of photography but congratulations, having so much interest can't be bad!

How did they come to hear that you had the goods? via a photo site of some sort?

I was asked by Clipper Ventures to cover the race on the water and as such was with a BBC film crew and thus they asked about my work as a lifeboat press officer and my images... so by word of mouth both ITV Yorkshire and BBC Humberside have requested some of these images and also a handful of yachting and sailing mags :) So this has been one of the best events that I have covered this year!
