i'm new to this , not really a clubby sort ,but i guess a forum is kinda different.
i,ve joined out of desperation , i am seeking an image from yesteryear ,so only the annually challenged amongst us are going to be able to help.
right..... i am looking for a black and white photograph,that's pre-digital, when people used to put rolls of film in ....it's a lady at a mirror ,mounted over a mantlepiece , applying her make-up . it's circa 1980 ish. ameture photographer or practical photography ran this print and the story to go with it , anyone who has seen it will agree it's a stunnner of a monochrome study .
the lady is wearing .....it's cold shower time folks.... a lace bra,panties,stockings and suspenders, and over the top she is wearing a ......lace negleghie is the closest description i can give.oh and high heels.
i want it for a friend at work who is studying to become a photo journalist, and thankfully he likes monochrome .
i'm trying to show him how monochrome layers,cos no matter how many times you look at that photo you always see something you missed last time .
