next weekend whitsun bank holiday , there’s going to be air displays along the Mersey to commemorate 80 years since the battle of the Atlantic . Fly pasts from ww2 planes and BBMF .google for times and dates . Weather looks good to
 
Also this weekend is the ‘war weekend’
Covers Rawtenstall, Ramsbottom, Bury and Heywood on the East Lancs Railway

I think the Spitfires etc do flyovers
