Yes
I'd really like to push myself forward in the extreme sports side of photography, for two reasons: I've always loved extreme sports, and I really enjoy taking photos. I know it's a bit 'dreamy', but if I was presented with an opportunity to make a living shooting extreme sports and sponsor marketing stuff, I wouldn't be able to say yes quick enough!

Those of you that have seen my flickr stuff will be well aware I'm a keen kiteboarder. I used to be a skateboarder, and I love watching any extreme sports events on TV, youtube, etc. I've hit a bit of a plateau with my kiteboarding pictures recently, so I'm dabbling in some live music & bands and other stuff while I try to think up new things. It's really good fun, but not quite like the rush of being out on the beach, 20 knots of wind blowing on-shore and either shredding up the beach or taking photos of the other guys pulling all the tricks over my head etc.

Earlier today I was catching up on some videos from www.ontheloose.tv, which is a series following the travels of two of the best kitesurfers in the world: Ruben Lenten, the all round nutcase, pushing the boundaries every time he gets out on the water; and Aaron Hadlow, the 5x world champion from the UK, at the age of just 21 (22 on monday!).
One of the latest videos has a short part about the photoshoot that Ruben did in Morocco for his clothing sponsor, Mystic. I watched the video, and it hit me that it was the exact sort of thing I want to do. I would love to be able to say "Yeah, I took some of the shots in that catalogue" or "Yep, they're my pics on the website of a manufacturer who sponsor a 5x world champion..."

The video in question can be found here... http://www.ontheloose.tv/episodes/mystic-photoshoot-morocco/
The photoshoot bit starts about 8:30, it goes on to about 10:25

Anyway, that's my little story!

So, what do you want to do? What inspires you? What is your goal?
